How to Prepare

PRICING:
Price in whole dollar increments only.

TAGS:
Prepare tags in the following manner:

Tags may be handwritten or printed on a 3x5 index card.

Tags should be written in INK. Think about your tags like you think about checks in your check book. Tags are how you get paid, so make sure you use ink when writing out your tag.

Leave at least one inch along the top for taping

Starting at the upper left hand corner, but not in violation of the one inch area. place your consignor number. Your consignor number should be your initials and the last 4 digits of your phone number.

In the middle of the tag place a brief description. We recommend using a red pen to hi-light important information such as "Answer Key" or "Teacher's Edition".

The price is placed in the lower right corner. Price in whole dollar increments only. If you do NOT want your item to go half off, please place a BIG RED ND or RED DOT next to the price.

Do not make any changes to a tag's price. If you need to change the price, make a new tag. Items that have changes on the price will not be sold.

TAPING:
Using BLUE painters tape on books, boxes and media:

Use BLUE painters tape to secure tags and boxes.

Tape one piece of blue painters tape along the top and bottom of the tag.

Do not cover up any pertinent information such as the consignor number or price.

Use CLEAR Packing Tape to seal any items in plastic bags. Seal along the top of the bag.

Secure the tag with ONE strip of CLEAR Packing Tape along the TOP of the tag. Be sure NOT to tape over the consignor number. Do NOT tape over the middle of the tag.
